It's Spring here in Canada.... I think.

Seriously... it's not a lie! 😒

Hi and Happy Spring Everybody!!  At least according to the calendar it is anyhow.  We've had a cold, windy and snowy spring thus far, but today the sun is shining and the forecast is getting less gloomy in the coming weeks so I felt like sharing this flower mani I did last Sunday!  Really happy with how it turned out!

My mani was inspired by this simple flower look by OneNailToRuleThemAll  ...

I started with a smooshy style base as it was Smooshy Nail Sunday over on Instagram that day!  I used my go to base of Kbshimmer Fillin Groovy  Then using my trusty Clear Jelly Stamper Big Bling Stamper  I smooshed three separate polishes all together on each nail.  They were Night Owl Lacquer- Snowy Owl, Powder Perfect- Turtledoves  (on sale at Harlow & Co. right now 😉)  and Superchic Lacquer- Wonderwall.

The look before adding the flowers.

To add the flowers I used two different sized double ended dotting tools, specifically the pink and white ones out of this set here.  For the polishes I chose three of my stamping polishes from Painted Polish's Stamped In Spring Collection  (Starfruit, Peach & Guava), and TwinkledTs stamping polish- So Extra.  I added some little gold doodads ( I want to call them grommets?) for the centers of some of the flowers.

Finally got a macro lens... now to perfect using it!

I hope you liked these as much as I did!  I wished I could have kept them on longer!  I definitely would like to do this look again with different colours to change it up a bit!
I have one more quick look I want to share that was also inspired by our current 'spring' here in Canada and here's hoping it's warmer where you are!  ~Kelly
