It is so refreshing to know that there are amazing makeup brands out there who look out for the well-being of not only our skin, but also our animals, Nude By Nature is one of those companies. They create products that are formulated with 100% natural ingredients, don't use any synthetics or preservatives and are cruelty free and PETA certified. A few months back I tried Nude By Natures "Perfecting Primer' and was instantly in-love, it smells heavenly and fresh, feels great and did a wonderful job of creating a base for my makeup application. I have been very conscientious of what I put on my skin lately, and I must say it's made a huge improvement on my skins appearance and texture. Today I'm going to be diving into this wonderful collection of face products and see how they perform.

Nude By Nature totally nailed it in the packaging department, their design is clean and sophisticated. They are all about being completely natural and healthy, and the look of their products mimics that perfectly. Many cosmetics contain ingredients such as: Silicon, Siloxanes, Phthalates, Sulphates, PEGS, Triclosan, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Carmine and Talc , if you don't know what those are, just know they're yucky and not good for your skin! Nude By Nature Proudly does not use any of those ingredients listed above. Today we'll be diving into some great face products, their Perfecting Primer, Loose Radiant  Powder Foundation, Sheer Light Illuminator, Highlight Stick and Cashmere Pressed Blush.

Let's begin with Nude By Nature's Perfecting Primer, you receive 30 ml/1 fl ounce of a moisturizing and silicon-free primer. Moisturizing primer's are key to my makeup application, I have combination skin with many dry patches and need all the moisture I can get. This primer smells heavenly, but not too strong, it's almost a creamy citrus scent. It has a fluffy and moisturizing texture that leaves behind a smooth yet a ever so small bit of tackiness, which I find necessary to create a good lasting base.

I like to add an illuminator to all of the highlight points on my face before my foundation just for that "glow from within" type look, Nude By Natures Sheer Light Illuminator will do just that. It can be used over or under your foundation for a sheer glow or can be built up if you're looking for a stronger highlight. Upon opening this product, my initial reaction was that it felt similar to the primer, very clean and moisturizing. The smell is very similar too, heavenly. It leaves a beautiful tinted glow, the shimmer is very fine and reflective.

The next highlight I have is Nude By Nature's Highlight Stick in the shade "Champagne". It comes in a large rose gold tube with 10 grams of product. In comparison to the sheer light illuminator, this is more of a wet looking highlight. This product is very smooth, glides effortlessly and blends like a dream. It is not an intense/blinding highlight, more or a subtle radiant glow.

Again we have another beautifully packaged product, the Nude By Nature Loose Powder Foundation and I am OBSESSED with it. Not only is it good over just a primer, but it's also good over foundation for a smoothing and full coverage effect. It's a medium to full coverage powder foundation that is so finely milled that it completely fills in you're fingerprint when just feeling the product. This is always something I look for in all powders I use, it helps to see whether or not the powder will cover my pores and glide smoothly over any fine lines and wrinkles. This product is just so versatile in my opinion, you can use it to clean up you're complexion quickly if you're in a rush, you can set your face with it by dusting over liquid foundation and your can do a full-coverage/full-glam face by using it over foundation. I am very impressed with how build-able it is leaving me with no cakeyness and no bare patches at the end of the day.

And last but not least, I have Nude By Nature's Cashmere Pressed Blush in the shade "Pink Lilly". This blush is very soft, hence the word "Cashmere" in it's name. It is very pigmented but not over the top, which is perfect. This organic blush has such a long lasting finish, it's absolutely stunning. I was pleasantly surprised when I initially swatched it, the colour pay-off is amazing and this shade would be perfect for many skin tones. It's slightly mauvey with soft pink undertones which leaves you with that naturally blushed and defined look.

I wanted to showcase these products on more of a full-face look, up-close and personal. The photo above has had no tools used other than some brightening and shadowing.
Here's what I used from today's blog:
Perfecting Primer: Base
Sheer Light Illuminator: Used on-top of the primer on my cheek bones and above my brows.
Radiant Loose Powder Foundation: Applied with a beauty blender over the primer and a small amount of concealer under my eyes, finished by dusting a small amount more for fuller coverage.
Cashmere Pressed Blush: Used on the high points of my cheek bones, blended out ever so slightly.
Highlight Stick: Bridge of my nose, brow bone, cheek bones and cupids bow.

If you were wondering what I used on my eyes, YES it's also Nude By Nature, stay tuned to see what I used, Samantha<3
