Sometimes finding affordable products that do exactly what they claim can be difficult, which is why I am always on the hunt for great drugstore products. I have not so perfect skin, my pores are large, I have discoloration, I can be oily in my t-zone and weirdly enough still have dry patches scattered all over my face. To say my skin is picky when it comes to what I put on my face is an understatement. Today I have Revlon's Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin, Colorstay Brow CrayonPhotoready Highlighting Palette in Sunlit Dream and Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Audacious Mauve. I've heard great things about these products, so lets dive in!

Choosing a foundation can be difficult at times, Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily skin comes in 43 shades, they also carry a wide range of shades for Normal/Dry skin types which  makes choosing the perfect shade and formulation much easier. The glass bottle packaging has a pump which is my favourite type of applicator because its sanitary and you waste much less product during your foundation routine. I personally use just under 2 pumps for my entire face which gave me great coverage, it was very easy to blend and matched almost perfectly. One great thing I noticed about this foundation was how light weight it is, usually when I buy foundation for my skin type they feel heavy, drying and sometimes patchy. Revlon nailed this formula in my opinion, it mattified my skin without over-drying and accentuating my dry patches, lasted my whole day without separating  the coverage was fantastic and its very affordable at only 12-16$(depending on your location) for 1 Fl Oz.

Next on my list of products to check out is this Revlon Photoready Highlighting Palette in the shade Sunlit Dream. This palette comes in two different shades, Sunlit Dream which are more warm toned with golds and pinks and Galaxy Dream which are more cool-toned with greens, whites and blues. I always love a warm golden highlight so I decided to go with the Sunlit Dream quad. These highlighters are filled with micro glitter specks that make for a nice glow, they are slightly flaky but also very smooth and creamy. Each shade has a coloured base with a golden iridescent glow, I am absolutely in-love with the pink  shade, in the sunlight you can see the beautiful gold shimmer underneath its pink base, it's stunning. I wouldn't call these blinding highlighters and I don't think Revlon was going for that, it's more of a radiant glow.

Revlon is such an iconic brand, and when it comes to lipstick I'm never disappointed. I've chosen the shade "Audacious Mauve" to show you, its a beautiful pink matte shade with a net weight of 4.2 grams. As always, the formula is ever so smooth, long lasting and it doesn't dry out my lips at all which is surprising for a matte finish. Just like all tube lipsticks, they do require some touch ups throughout the day,  which is expected. The price is un-beatable at 5-8$ for a highly pigmented and very opaque lipstick. Did I mention they carry 82 different colours? I tend to stick to nudes and pink shades, its what I'm comfortable with and I also feel like they always go great with my skin tone. I don't know how Revlon managed to create a matte lipstick that's oddly enough hydrating, but they did, after wearing this lipstick for almost 10 hours my lips looked smooth and felt moisturized!

Lastly, I have Revlons Colorstay Brow Crayon. It is said to define and build your brow with just a sweep or two. I personally did two sweeps of a brow and took a small angled brush, grabbed a bit of product from the crayon and continued to line and define them to give a bit of an ombre effect. I always go for a natural and fluffy brow, my brows are almost completely blonde and very sparse so sometimes brow products can be very difficult to find. This brow crayon gave great coverage and filled in my bare spots. I found it to be a bit waxy yet it didn't pull or tug at what brows I have. A dramatic look with this crayon is most definitely achievable, I had no patchiness after 2 full coats and it was extremely build-able. Revlon's Colorstay Brow Crayon is only 7-9$, is very long lasting and comes in 4 different shades. Below you'll see the shade Blonde along with all the other great items I've chatted about today!
