A Week Of Old Favorites: Day 6~ Pretty Simple

And simply pretty.  Day 6 is a very simple design that can be done using pretty much any color/glitter/striper combination you want!

Day 6: Simple and Pretty

In the original from March of 2016, I used a grey creme with a scattered holographic silver glitter topper and a silver striper.  In this recreation I decided to go with a lilac creme, an opal-esque polish with iridescent flakies, scattered holo and a purple shimmer and that same silver striper from 2016!

Thumbs, March 2016 / August 2018

I like the finished looks of both the original and the recreated design.

Bliss Polish- Violet as the base.

Everything was done by hand, so no need for vinyls or any other supplies than the polishes themselves.

Base: Glisten & Glow-Ridge Filling Base Coat
Purple: Bliss Polish- Lilac
Glitter: Fair Maiden- Sirenade
Striper: Stripe Rite- Silver
Top: Glisten & Glow Top Coat

I love this Fair Maiden polish so much I decided to wear it alone on my other hand.  Sirenade was an event exclusive polish at this years Indie Expo Canada, and I am so glad I picked it up!

I think for Day 7 I'm going to choose something fall themed as school is starting, the horrible humidity seems to have disappeared and you can almost smell the pumpkin spice in the air! ~ Kelly
