....A Jelly Sandwich! (If you get that...please say you do or I'll feel suuuper old!)
|June 2016 / August 2018 Jelly Flowers|
It's Day 5 of my recreation week, and I actually have way more than two days of inspiration photos left and I'm kind of finding it harder to choose as the week goes on! The original of this design was one I really enjoyed doing and loved the finished look. Same can be said for this recreation. It's such a light fun and summery style, so here it is by the pool!
A Jelly Sandwich nail art look is achieved by painting or stamping designs between layers of Jelly Polish. As I am not aware yet of an Indie brand that has a Jelly Polish similar to the tinted glass look of the OPI- Sheer Tints, I did borrow them to create this manicure.
Sheer Pink- OPI- Be Magentile With Me
White- Twinkled T- Glow Up
Silver Holo- Colors by Llarowe- Sparkling Diamonds

You can see in this slightly closer photo what happens when you are not patient while executing a Jelly Sandwich manicure, bubbles! This is a result of me not allowing each layer enough dry time before starting the next layer. I kind of think the teeny bubbles are cute but if you are more particular than I, you need to be very patient with the dry times!
I was so excited to revisit this nail art technique that I borrowed the yellow Sheer Tint, I'm Never Amberassed also!
