A Week of Old Favorites: Day 3~ Twofer Tuesday!

For Day 3 of my recreations I decided to pick two sky themed manis because well, it's Tuesday and I have two hands!

First up is a hand painted rainbow design with dotted cloud french tips from June of 2014.  As you can see I was still using the claw pose to show off my skills back then!  I am really enjoying the challenge of hand painting some designs and realize just how much I love the clean look of stamping now and how quick and easy it is.  But there is definitely something relaxing about having to sit and focus on steadying your hand and taking your time.

For the bright rainbow colors I reached for my go to creme polishes from Bliss Polish:
Red- Cherry
Orange- Mandarin
Yellow- Daisy
Green- Basil
Blue- Ocean
Purple- Plum
I don't believe these are available any longer and I am so glad I picked up every color I could when I had the chance!  Many of them are opaque in one coat!

Basecoat- Kbshimmer Fillin Groovy
White- Girly Bits White Wedding
Topcoat- Glisten & Glow Top Coat
Brush- Twinkled T #000

And on my other hand I decided it'd be perfect to recreate an old cloud design, but this time using stamping instead of a dotting tool!

This was from my beginner days and looks like I may have not even owned dotting tools then, pretty sure those dots are from the end of a brush.  I definitely prefer the stamped version and my current clean up skills to back then!   Please excuse the not so great cuticles, I've been neglecting them for a few days.

When I was thinking sky the first polish that caught my eye for a base was Fiendish Fancies We Are An Endangered Species.  I just love a pretty blue polish and this one is one of my very favorites.
Also used:
Twinkled T Glow Up
Clear Jelly Stamper Big Bling Pink
