Hey everyone! I'm here to tell you my thoughts on the Wet n Wild Color Icon ten pan eye shadow palettes. I have a few so far and I think you'll be interested to see how these $7.00 palettes perform!

There are four palettes available in this line: Rosé In The Air, Not A Basic Peach, Nude Awakening, and Comfort Zone. I own three, excluding Comfort Zone, and have used them for a few weeks now. The shadows feel soft and are very pigmented when swatched. The shimmer shadows have some fallout, but the matte shadows don't have much at all. These palettes are also cruelty free and are not tested on animals as are all Wet n Wild products.

These eye shadows blend out with little effort while also having great color payoff. When applying the shimmer shades you have to be careful of the fallout, but if you put a layer of powder down under your eyes or do your eye makeup first that shouldn't cause any major problems. Something to keep in mind when using these palettes is that they don't work well with certain eye shadow primers. I found that it didn't blend out as well over the Urban Decay primer potion, but it worked well over a cream concealer or the Smashbox 24 hour photo finish shadow primer

I mostly used the Nude Awakening palette with some shades from Rosé In The Air for this look. the matte shadows blended very well and didn't bleed into the concealer I used on my eyelid. I applied the shimmer shade with a wet brush and it took some time to build up the color. I was pleased with this look and all the eye shadows worked really well together.

I wore this eye shadow for about ten hours and I was quite impressed with how it looked by the end of the day! I didn't notice any creasing and the eye shadow never became dull, even where I had layered the shimmer shadow. My eyes were slightly watery today making my mascara move around, but the eye shadow stayed put and didn't budge at all through that.
All in all I really like how the Wet n Wild Color Icon ten pan eye shadow palettes perform! They look beautiful and blend out as well as some high end palettes I own. Considering these are around $7.00, you can get one or two and be able to make some great looks without breaking the bank. I would recommend these palettes to everyone, and I will be repurchasing these in the future!
I'll see you next time~Ariel
