Questions are BOLD & the creators response will be in the regular font.
Today I will be interviewing Jaclyn from Aisuru Lacquer. So if you're interested in finding out more about this creator, just keep reading!
Please tell me a bit yourself (not your polish brand just you)
My name is Jaclyn but I prefer to be called Kagome. I love food way too much especially desserts. Majority of my friends love to pick on my height and call me short but I prefer to be known as fun-sized. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my friends and family. I feel like people should make the best of their lives with what they have and with what they can do because life is short and you never know what can happen. Take risks and stop being lazy because if not you’ll always be stuck forever which is why I took a chance and started to make my own brand and line of polishes. I got tired of being stuck and wanted to do something.
What is your nail polish brand name?
|Aisuru - Hayashi; Forest|
What inspired you to name your brand that?
It started off with naming my blog. My blog is Aisuru Nails. I have a great infatuation with Japanese culture and language. I’m fascinated with it a lot. I also follow one emotion whole heartedly which is love. Aisuru is Japanese term “To Love”. If you were to translate both my blog and my brand it would be Aisuru Nails: To Love Nails and Aisuru Lacquer: To Love Lacquer.
What year did you start your brand?
I actually started my brand this year in mid-April. It was a birthday present to myself to see what I can do and accomplish.
Do you remember the name of the first polish you made &/or sold?
The first polish I ever made was a creation by my boyfriend and we called it “Duckii Blues” but that isn't part of my collection. The first polish I've ever sold was Hayashi.
Out of all the the polishes you've made, can you tell me your favourite 3?
I love all the polishes I've made but my absolute top three would be Hayashi, Aorantisu and Nebyrua.
My top three are Harajuku, Hayashi and Nebyrua.
When making a polish, do you create with inspirations or just start adding random.
Usually I start with inspiration. I have a few ideas in mind already. I don’t usually create by adding random things together although that would be interesting.
Do you ship internationally?
No currently I do not.
Is there anything else you'd like my readers to know?
I care very much about my brand and anyone who is really interested in helping me whether it be with swatches/reviews or advertising or just advice on how to do more I would appreciate it greatly.
